Yesterday morning savvy momma and I went shopping! It has become a habit to spend Sunday mornings around town picking up deals. We went to Safeway, CVS, and Dollar General. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the Safeway deals because we were in a rush yesterday! It was funny seeing everyone rush around the grocery store like mad people stocking up for the Frankenstorm as mom and I are causally picking up our deals. What couponer isn’t already stocked for natural disasters?! We stocked up on shampoo and conditioner yesterday. At least we’ll have clean and smellin’ good hair.

Please refer to my CVS deals that I posted last night for explanations.

I bought:

  • (12) Herbal Essence (You only need 10 for the deal, but I had an extra coupon. Remember, you can only use 4 coupons at a time though!)
  • (4) Aveeno Products
  • (2) CVS Lotions $4 each (And maybe 25% off with my coupon. Plus $3 off each one with the CVS coupons I had)
  • (4) Revlon Tools
  • (2) Robitussin
  • (1) CVS Chips

I paid about $6 or $7 but almost all was tax! Ick! I really can’t complain though – look at all that shampoo and conditioner! Do you remember when we actually used to pay for this stuff? Whew! I’m going to give myself a heart attack!

I used up about $23 ECBs, give or take. I got back… $15 from Aveeno, $10 from P&G, $3 from Robitussin, $14 from Revlon. That’s a grand total of $42 ECBs. That’s one heck of a money making trip! Ohhh, CVS I <3 you.

I even ran into another coupon shopper (which I usually avoid, no offense guys!). She was sweet though and did a lot of the same deals I did (sorry, I took the last two Aveeno!). She even gave me a coupon I needed and I shared a tip about using the 25% off email coupons. I don’t like competition at my store, but at least she was a friendly lady :)

CVS was rockin’ this week! Hold on to those ECBs… you’ll need them for Black Friday!
