Michael and I took our walk to CVS today. I’m at school this weekend, so I don’t have my ECBs or coupons so I only did a simple transaction. One of the great things about CVS is how their deals track on the bottom of your receipt. For instance, I bought 6 Glade Sprays today ($0.99 each) which puts me at $5.94 out of $12 for the Glade deal. When my mom gets a chance this week, she’ll be able to spend another $6 and get the ECB back. Same goes for the Hershey’s deal. My mom and I typically share a CVS card because it just makes things easier. And we work best as a team
CVS:
Bought-
- (6) Glade Sprays 9 oz $0.99 – Used (3) $2/2 coupons = FREE
- (2) Hershey’s 6pk $1 – Used $1/2 coupon = $0.50 each!
Paid $1.42
My mom will complete the deals and do some others this week. If you’re planning to do the Glade deal with the sprays, be careful! Our coupon excludes the 8 oz sprays (which are also $0.99). The 9 oz (what I bought) are the older style spray. The 8 oz is the new variety so some of you may have trouble finding the older ones.
At Rugged Wearhouse, I bought a Grateful Dead shirt for my dad as a Christmas present for $3! He loves the Grateful Dead and green’s his favorite color. Good find!
