I want to wish all of you a very Happy New Year! I hope you’re all out having a fun time tonight bringing in 2012! Be safe and have fun :)

I wish everyone luck sticking to their New Year’s Resolutions. I highly recommend adding Couponing to the list if it isn’t there already ;)

2011 was a great year for me and my blog and I owe it all to my lovely readers. New readers and my lovelies that check the blog every day keep this page running. I love hearing your feedback and seeing your great deals. Thank you for being so supportive of a college-aged blogger! I know it’s hard putting up with and listening to 19 year old blogger sometimes. Not many people like listening to people younger than them, but I try to be reliable because I truly do this to help you. I appreciate every single reader and know you’ll stay with me through 2012 and watch me grow even more. This time last year I had less than 20 readers/day, so this sites is surely growing and I’m so grateful! ;)

    How to See Recent Posts on Facebook

    With all the crazy Facebook changes, people are missing out on their friends statuses and more importantly, the freebies!

    By the time you see that I posted that free sample, it could already be gone! Here are two easy ways to make sure you’re seeing what you want to see on your News Feed:

    1. Log in to Facebook and “Like” the Savvy Student Shopper if you haven’t already
    2. Go to your home news feed and click “Sort” at the top right of the feed.  Then select “Recent Stories First” -so you’ll catch all the freebies asap!
    3. Then, find a post from the Savvy Student Shopper (either on your news feed or my wall). Click on the arrow towards the top right of the post and select “Highlight this story”. (As seen in example above) This makes sure your favorite pages aren’t hidden from your view.
    Hopefully that helps you see more of what YOU want on Facebook and I’d love it if you followed the Savvy Student Shopper :)
